Meet our new Chairman. If you're in advertising you'll recognise him immediately as the one and only Simon Scott.
If you don't have a scooby who he is, then here are a few highlights of his illustrious career: He started at Marr Associates as a copywriter where he won a D&AD Silver in his first year (show off); He became deputy creative director At Hall Advertising (the granddaddy of Scottish ad agencies); then creative director and board member of Faulds; finally he became joint founder and creative director of his very own agency, The Union.

A few years ago he decided to step down from the day to day stuff so he sold his shares and moved to South Africa to start an Eco friendly farm and restaurant. And now he spends his time between living there and his home in Scotland.

When we heard he was back in Edinburgh we couldn't think of anyone who we'd rather have as Chairman. He's done everything; he knows everyone; and he has a song or a poem for every occasion. What more could you want?
So we asked him and he said "when will the cards be ready".

As you'd imagine with mightysmall, Chairmanship is a suitably informal job description. Simon pops in for a cuppa and a chat whenever he likes and we're just as likely to gossip as talk new business.
