We’re starting to believe that Amsterdam is becoming one of the last bastions of creativity. The work is consistently high. Large international agencies are regularly choosing Amsterdam for their next location over London. And the number of new start-ups doesn’t seem to be slowing despite a recession that always hits our industry the hardest.

The latest one to launch is Nothing short of smart. It’s called er,Nothing and its co-founders are highly awarded ex-DDB Executive creative Directors and previous co –founders of another creative Amsterdam Agency, Selmore.

So why are they called Nothing? Because “Nothing is the point from which all ideas begin. Ideas that have the power to transform nothing into something.”

What we like about Nothing is the way they’ve set about living their brand. And that really comes to life when you see what they’ve done with their office. In their own words:

“The idea behind Nothing manifests itself in our office space,
using a “no screw no glue technique” we made our office entirely of cardboard, the most nothing-building material we could find.”

Looks pretty good, hopefully it cost very little and of course it scored big on launch publicity.

Just hope they’re careful with their coffee mugs.
